Powerbomb Comedy takes over Newtown favourite Kelly’s on King with this weekly comedy room, Joke Off. The performances rotate between an amateur Comedy Competition and a Comedy Showcase featuring professional comedians. Whichever night you attend, you’ll definitely leave laughing.

Each Comedy Competition runs across a two-month period, featuring a diverse lineup of comedians performing for their chance at a massive cash prize. Every week the audience votes for one comedian to head to the finals and the judges vote for another.

In between competitions, the Joke Off Showcase a variety of local and international comedians every week. Whether you’re heading along to enjoy a comedian you know and love, or discovering a new favourite, you’re bound to have a great night.
